Fall has come to Geneva Bay and pizza restaurant owner, Delilah O'Leary is changing her focus from serving pizzas on the lake to catering events to support her business in the off-season. Unfortunately her first big catering job, a fundraiser for the public library, ends in murder. To make matters worse, a storm has trapped them all in a lakeside mansion with no electricity until someone can clear the roads. Will they survive until morning? Or will the killer strike again?

I love this series! I love pizza, I love the lakeside setting, and the characters are wonderful. Sadly, in this book everything seemed a bit duller. Perhaps it was the macabre setting of the mansion plunged into darkness with a killer lurking about, which was a bit darker (both literally and figuratively) than the average cozy. I also really missed the restaurant and the lake and all the activity that has always surrounded Delilah and her friends and coworkers.

Overall this series is one of my new favorites. Though this wasn't my favorite of the series so far, I'm still a huge fan and look forward to continuing the series.
