OK. If you are a fan of cozy mysteries and you haven't read this series yet you need to start it, like, today. Right now. I'm a fan of cozies and I read a lot of different series but out of all the dozens and dozens (hundreds?) of series I read, this is one of the few that I anxiously await the next book in the series.

I started reading it in the summer of 2019 and that was a difficult time for me. I'd lost the job I'd had (and loved) for almost 10 years and I was having some issues with my health. I was frustrated and sad and just tired. And then I read Murder with Peacocks. Then Murder with Puffins. Then Revenge of the Wrought Iron Flamingos. I would drink cup after cup of tea at my new job so I had an excuse to take lots of bathroom breaks where I could sneak in a few pages of the ebook. It got me through.

This book is light on the mystery and heavy on the cozy. And I loved it. I love this whole series and I hope it continues forever.
