How about drinking this delicious mulled wine at a fancy ski lodge in a cozy little village tucked away in the mountains of Colorado? Oh, and let's get snowed in while we're there!

I LOVE mysteries where the main character travels and this was basically the perfect little vacation destination. Unfortunately the idyllic Valentine's Day getaway that Parker and Reid had planned, along with her best friend Sage and brother Liam, was marred by murder. No worries, Parker is on the case! After hearing the fatal incident and suspecting foul play, Parker uses her and Reid's connections to interview witnesses and track down clues. There are as many suspects as chairs on a ski lift and they move around almost as much!

Throughout the course of this book we see Parker's relationship with Reid continue to develop and we see Parker finally making her way down the mountain of grief she's been experiencing since the death of her beloved Aunt Laura. I think Aunt Laura would be proud of her progress. As a lover of wine and cozy mysteries I've enjoyed this series immensely and look forward to seeing Parker back at Vino Valentine.
