Meg Langslow has often gone to her nephew, tech-whiz Kevin, for help with investigations. This time, Kevin has come to her. He and his friend have started a true crime podcast and after his friend nearly gets run over on a darkened street in the middle of the night, Kevin can't help but wonder if the subject of one of their podcasts is trying to shut them up.

This is one of my favorite series and one I have kept up with since I started it a few years ago (after binge-reading it to get caught up). I don't know how the author always manages to keep the series fresh, even after 31 books, but she does. In this book, Meg is asked to investigate several cases that Kevin and his friend used on their true crime podcast to see if one of the cases might be related to a near-miss hit-and-run. Meg passes some of the investigating to the police and does some traveling to follow up on the cases she decides to pursue on her own. All the mysteries end up being solved, though only one of them leads her to a killer.

There was a lot going on in this book but it wasn't hard to follow and though there are dozens of characters they're easy to remember and differentiate (and I'm generally very critical of books I feel have too much going on or too many characters, so that's really saying something!) Another great book in a fantastic series!

Thank you to NetGalley for providing me with an ARC.
